About Soccer DB Data
Soccer DB Data is a browsable archive of football history — competitions, seasons, clubs, players and results going back over a century — together with a free browser-based management game that lets you take a squad of real players from any season and play out a whole championship.
What you can do here
- Browse competitions and seasons — open a league season to see its standings, rounds and results.
- Explore players and clubs — search a player to see their season-by-season career (appearances and goals), or open a club to see its squads across seasons.
- Compare players and clubs, and browse all-time records.
- Play the manager game — build a 25-man squad, set tactics, manage fitness and transfers, and build a multi-season career. It is free and needs no account; your progress is saved in your own browser.
Where the data comes from
The site is built on a structured football database of historical competitions, seasons, teams, players and match records. Player ratings shown in the game are derived from each player's recorded career (appearances, goals, age and the level of the competitions they played in) — they are our own calculation for entertainment, not official ratings.
A note on accuracy
Historical football data is never perfect — records can have gaps or small errors, and the game's ratings and match results are simulations for fun, not predictions. If you spot something wrong, we'd love to hear about it via the Contact page.
